Beschreibung:Several men are standing around a flock of sheep. Two sheep with large horns look towards the photographer. The men are wearing hats and long coats. In the background, the sea and the silhouettes of industrial buildings can be seen.
Beschreibung:The picture was probably taken in the context of an article reporting on the slaughterhouse in Sütlüce on the Golden Horn Haliç, maybe on the occasion of the preparations for Kurbanbayramı. Preparations for this religious holiday and the start of festivities were reported in short articles and pictures that sometimes reappeared a year or two later on the same or similar occasions.
