Beschreibung:A group of men is herding a large flock of sheep across the yard of an industrial building. A large group of men dressed mostly in coats and hats or flat caps is assembled at the back of the yard.
Beschreibung:The picture was probably taken in the context of an article reporting on the slaughterhouse in Sütlüce on the Golden Horn, maybe on the occasion of the preparations for Kurbanbayramı. Preparations for this religious holiday and the start of festivities were reported in short articles and pictures that sometimes reappeared a year or two later on the same or similar occasions.
