But a group of Diemen inhabitants got the building listed. Stadsherstel Amsterdam NV bought the ruin to make it rise in all its glory. After a vast inventory and research of the building they got enthusiastic about the restoration of the exterior and interior with its beautiful Louis XVI stucco. The church got converted into a multifunctional building. On February 27th 1998 the building got inaugurated after one year of restoration.</dc:description> <dc:identifier>Registration Nr.: HA 2001/NL/02</dc:identifier> <dc:identifier>Intern Registration Nr.: W-2001 CON-28 NL</dc:identifier> <dc:identifier>Version Nr.: 2001128</dc:identifier> <dcterms:spatial>GPS: 52°20'19.6"N; 4°57'34.5"E</dcterms:spatial> <dcterms:spatial>Town: Diemen</dcterms:spatial> <dcterms:spatial>ZIP Code: 1111 BG </dcterms:spatial> <dcterms:spatial>Street: Hartveldseweg 23 </dcterms:spatial> <dc:description>Buildings: Schuilkerk "De Hoop"</dc:description> <dc:description>Former Use: Catholic church</dc:description> <dc:description>Jury Citation: "For the successful restoration of a former secret Roman Catholic Church, threatened by demolition after a fire but saved through local initiatives in combination with an Urban Restoration Company and now adapted for multifunctional use"</dc:description> <dcterms:spatial>Country Name: Netherlands</dcterms:spatial> <dcterms:spatial>Country Shortcut: NL</dcterms:spatial> <dcterms:rightsHolder>European Heritage Awards Archive</dcterms:rightsHolder> <dcterms:licence>http://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/mark/1.0/</dcterms:licence> <dcterms:isReferenceBy>https://europeanheritageawards-archive.eu/laureates-1978-2018/detail/conventicle-de-hoop-diemen</dcterms:isReferenceBy> <dcterms:references>https://europeanheritageawards-archive.eu/fileadmin/Bibliothek/2001/conservation/conventicle-de-hoop-diemen/1-Exterior_view_before_repair.jpg</dcterms:references> <dcterms:references>https://europeanheritageawards-archive.eu/fileadmin/Bibliothek/2001/conservation/conventicle-de-hoop-diemen/2-Exterior_view.jpg</dcterms:references> <dcterms:references>https://europeanheritageawards-archive.eu/fileadmin/Bibliothek/2001/conservation/conventicle-de-hoop-diemen/11-Decoration_detail.jpg</dcterms:references> <dcterms:references>https://europeanheritageawards-archive.eu/fileadmin/Bibliothek/2001/conservation/conventicle-de-hoop-diemen/3-Exterior_view_before_repair.jpg</dcterms:references> <dcterms:references>https://europeanheritageawards-archive.eu/fileadmin/Bibliothek/2001/conservation/conventicle-de-hoop-diemen/4-Exterior_view.jpg</dcterms:references> <dcterms:references>https://europeanheritageawards-archive.eu/fileadmin/Bibliothek/2001/conservation/conventicle-de-hoop-diemen/5-Hall_with_gallery__before_repair.jpg</dcterms:references> <dcterms:references>https://europeanheritageawards-archive.eu/fileadmin/Bibliothek/2001/conservation/conventicle-de-hoop-diemen/6-Hall_with_gallery.jpg</dcterms:references> <dcterms:references>https://europeanheritageawards-archive.eu/fileadmin/Bibliothek/2001/conservation/conventicle-de-hoop-diemen/7-Interior_view_before_repair.jpg</dcterms:references> <dcterms:references>https://europeanheritageawards-archive.eu/fileadmin/Bibliothek/2001/conservation/conventicle-de-hoop-diemen/8-Interior_view.jpg</dcterms:references> <dcterms:references>https://europeanheritageawards-archive.eu/fileadmin/Bibliothek/2001/conservation/conventicle-de-hoop-diemen/9-Interior_view.jpg</dcterms:references> <dcterms:references>https://europeanheritageawards-archive.eu/fileadmin/Bibliothek/2001/conservation/conventicle-de-hoop-diemen/10-Interior_view.jpg</dcterms:references> </oai_dc:dc> </metadata> <about><prov:provenance xmlns:prov="http://www.openarchives.org/OAI/2.0/provenance" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.openarchives.org/OAI/2.0/provenance http://www.openarchives.org/OAI/2.0/provenance.xsd"><prov:originDescription harvestDate="2023-03-28T14:07:34Z" altered="false"><prov:baseURL>http://www.europeana-local.at/europeanheritageawards-archive.eu/oai-api/</prov:baseURL><prov:identifier>oai:europeanheritageawards-archive.eu:15</prov:identifier><prov:datestamp/><prov:metadataNamespace>http://www.openarchives.org/OAI/2.0/oai_dc/</prov:metadataNamespace></prov:originDescription></prov:provenance></about></record> </section> Servertime: 0.503 sec | Clienttime:
