The first car that is fully visible in the line is equipped with an US flag on the enginehood and a plate on top that is lettered This is the parade you were waiting for' ('İşte beklediğiniz resmigeçit'), followed by a reference to 'Ford Transports' (Ford Nakliye'). On the very right, a porter is carrying a flat and round construction with textiles on top over his head. Wires, poles, and tracks are installed on the bridge. The article states that the parade took place the day before and traces the route which led from Tophane Ford fabrikası over the Galata Bridge through Fatih before turning back over the Galata Bridge to Taksim Square, Şişli and Beşiktaş. | |
