  <dc:description xml:lang="deu">Die ethnographische Studie widmet sich der Frage wie in einem Kindergarten in katholischer und islamischer Trägerschaft mit religiöser Differenz umgegangen wird und wie Kinder diese thematisieren. Die Ergebnisse verdeutlichen die Notwendigkeit eines sensiblen Umgangs mit religiöser Differenz. Um strukturelle Benachteiligungen zu reduzieren, folgen Überlegungen zur Entwicklung einer Kultur der Anerkennung in elementaren Bildungseinrichtungen, in der auch religiöser Differenz Raum gegeben wird.</dc:description>
  <dc:description xml:lang="eng">The qualitative research project was conducted in an Islamic and a Catholic kindergarten in Vienna. The research question was: How is religious education provided in a Catholic and an Islamic kindergarten in Vienna and how is religious diversity recognized? The results of the research project highlight the importance to be sensitive about religious differences. </dc:description>
